Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, located on the scenic shores of Lake Victoria, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Tavira Africa Safaris.
After a short briefing, you will transfer to your accommodation in Entebbe where you can relax and recover from your journey. This peaceful lakeside town offers a calm introduction to Uganda before your adventure begins.

Day 2: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, begin your scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, one of Africa’s most famous gorilla trekking destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of Uganda’s countryside with a stop at the Equator Crossing in Kayabwe for photos and refreshments. Continue through rolling hills, traditional villages, and bustling towns, with a lunch stop in Mbarara.
Depending on your gorilla permit location, you will proceed either to Bwindi or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Upon arrival, check in at Travellers Rest Hotel or a similar comfortable lodge in Kisoro, where you will have dinner and rest for the night.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Early in the morning at around 5:00 am, enjoy breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for briefing. By 6:00 am, you will be transferred to the starting point of your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Accompanied by experienced rangers, you will trek through dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing their behavior, interactions, and presence of the dominant silverback.
After the trek, return to the starting point and continue your journey to the stunning Lake Bunyonyi, often called one of the most beautiful lakes in Africa.
Upon arrival, check in at Bunyonyi Overland Resort, where you will relax and enjoy the peaceful lake views.

Day 4: Drive to Entebbe and Departure
After an early breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Entebbe at around 8:00 am. The drive takes approximately seven hours, offering one last opportunity to enjoy Uganda’s scenic landscapes.
You will have a lunch stop in Mbarara or at the Equator depending on timing. After lunch, continue your journey to Entebbe, with an optional stop at the Equator if not visited earlier.
Upon arrival, your driver will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Uganda gorilla trekking safari.
