Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before departing for Musanze, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park, home to mountain gorillas and golden monkeys.
Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of Rwanda’s rolling hills and countryside landscapes.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge, relax, and enjoy the peaceful mountain environment. In the evening, you may optionally visit the Twin Lakes Burera and Ruhondo, known for their scenic beauty and birdlife.
Accommodation: Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge (Mid-range lodge near Volcanoes National Park)
The hike takes you through lush rainforest and volcanic slopes, rewarding you with stunning views of the crater lake at the summit. The ascent takes approximately 4 hours, followed by a 2-hour descent.
After the hike, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village (Gorilla Guardians Village), where you will enjoy traditional Rwandan music, dance performances, and cultural storytelling experiences.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Trek through bamboo forests to observe these rare and playful primates for one hour in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to the lodge, check out, and begin your journey back to Kigali.
Enjoy lunch en route and optionally shop for souvenirs at local craft markets.
You will then be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your Rwanda safari.
