Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Kigali
Transfer to your hotel and settle in after your journey.
Day 2: Into Akagera
Drive to the park and look for wildlife en route to your lodge.
Day 3: Wildlife and Lake Ihema
Enjoy a game drive and scheduled boat excursion before returning to Kigali.
Day 4: Travel to Nyungwe
Head southwest, allowing time for a selected cultural stop along the route.
Day 5: Chimpanzees and forest canopy
An early chimpanzee trek is followed by a canopy walk if the activity schedule and conditions permit.
Day 6: Return to Kigali
Travel back to Kigali. A tea-area visit can be discussed when arranging your departure timing.
