Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Kigali to Kisoro
Meet your Tavira guide and travel across the Rwanda–Uganda border to the Kisoro highlands. Settle into your lodge and prepare for the forest.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga
Attend the ranger briefing at Ntebeko before trekking. Keep the afternoon free to rest; wildlife movements determine how long you spend walking.
Day 3: Return to Kigali
Enjoy breakfast before the return road transfer. An additional golden monkey trek requires a separate permit and a suitable departure schedule.

One standard gorilla trekking permit per person, two lodge nights, private road transfers with a driver-guide, drinking water and meals specified in your confirmed itinerary.
