Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in gorilla country
Meet in Kigali and continue by road into Uganda. Check into a lodge positioned for your confirmed park activities.
Day 2: Standard gorilla trekking
Attend the park briefing and follow your ranger team into the forest. Rest at your lodge after the trek.
Day 3: Gorilla habituation experience
Join the authorised habituation activity in the Rushaga area. Follow the field team’s instructions throughout; the experience differs from a standard trek.
Day 4: Return to Kigali
Leave after breakfast for your cross-border transfer. Allow generous time between the road journey and any onward flight.
