Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Bwindi
Leave Kigali with your guide and cross into Uganda. Your lodge location is selected around the two confirmed trekking sectors.
Day 2: First gorilla trek
Join the park rangers for your first trek. Afterwards, take the afternoon at your own pace.
Day 3: Second gorilla trek
Return to the forest for another guided encounter. Rushaga and Nkuringo are the proposed sectors; allocations depend on permit availability.
Day 4: Departure to Kigali
Travel back across the border after breakfast, with a hotel or airport drop-off arranged around the road journey.
What the safari includes
Two standard gorilla trekking permits per person, three lodge nights, private ground transport, driver-guide and meals listed in your confirmed itinerary.
